Health and Safety

Salishan prioritizes their customer safety. As an “at risk” individual living in our current COVID-19 environment, I appreciate and highly value the comprehensive level of health and safety commitments from Salishan. Salishan has implemented heightened cleaning processes which comply with guidance and information shared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as state and local authorities.

Enhanced Disinfection and Cleaning

Salishan protects customers with more robust cleaning protocols. Salishan uses hospital-grade cleaning and disinfecting products are used for sanitization across the Salishan. The frequency of cleaning public spaces has been increased and includes all of the highly used touch points including door handles, rails and elevator buttons. In addition, hand sanitizer stations have been placed in many areas throughout the publicly available areas and entrances. Social distancing is implemented in the public areas, including the lobby. In addition, extensive training and screening has been completed for Salishan team members on staff who will be wearing protective masks and gloves while working or on duty.

Curbside Check-in / Check-out

Salishan has introduced optional curbside check-ins and check-outs for those guests who want to reduce the need for direct interaction.

Room Cleaning

I really appreciate the effort to have the guest rooms cleaned, disinfected and sealed for at least 24-hours prior to guest arrival. This is a big investment on behalf of Salishan and ensures that your room is disinfected and safe for your use. Any additional cleaning during your stay is optional (by request).

Guest rooms are cleaned using EPA-approved cleaning and disinfectant products from EcoLab that meet CDC requirements and a special focus placed on being comprehensive regarding high touch surfaces in the room. Non-essential items like decorative throw pillows, magazines, etc. have been removed reducing further the possibility for cross-contamination.

New Food & Drink Dining and To-Go Options

The food at Salishan is memorable and delectable. Healthy, locally-inspired menus are now digital but bring the same tasty result. The Salishan staff is taking additional precautions by wearing masks, gloves and other protective gear while minimizing contact as much as possible.

More Outdoor Seating with 6’ Spaced Seating

Salishan has spaced out their seating to allow for six feet physical distancing with additional new outdoor seating around the property.

Food On-The-Go

For breakfast from 7-11am, Salishan has a healthy, grab-and-go menu available daily in their new Provisions market. Guests can also dine outside using the expanded outdoor seating options or they can take their breakfast to-go and eat it in their rooms or out in nature.

Lunch and Dinner is available from 11am-10pm daily from The Attic restaurant.

Food is also available to-go.

Delicious locally inspired food

One way to reduce virus exposure and have a wonderful vacation is to spend time outside. It is easy to explore nature at the Salishan Coast Resort. The resort itself has wide open spaces and fresh air beneath towering trees. A short walk through the green golf-course and you are at the beautiful expanse of the Oregon Coast. The stretch of beach accessible by Salishan guests is usually uncrowded and peaceful to enjoy. Salishan also has bikes that you can borrow.
